Draw an Cheetah alongside artist Brooklyn Lamb in this live and interactive art workshop as she teaches us how to effectively map out an image using a reference. At the end of this workshop, we will understand how to create a complete form using a pencil and eraser. 

We will learn:

  • Object relation
  • Value
  • Line work

This session will run for approximately 90 minutes via Zoom and is open to a maximum of 30 people. Participants will have access to a recording of the workshop for 24 hours after the live session.

Are your classes for beginners?

Yes! I help guide you every step of the way when creating your portrait. I will even teach you how to use and wash your brushes.

Where is the class?

The class is on Zoom. You can join from your computer, tablet, or phone. It’s best to have a a bigger screen if possible. You could even AirPlay your phone to your TV screen for best picture.

What supplies do I need?

Everything you need will be included in your confirmation email after you sign up for the class. I include a preliminary drawing guide that is easy to follow and a link to my favorite art supplies.

How do I get the class link?

The Zoom link will be sent to you in your confirmation email when you sign up for the class.

Do I have to talk?

No! Feel free to talk as much or as little as you want. I do ask everyone a few questions as I try to make sure that everyone is on the same page or if anyone needs help. You can always type a question or comment in the chat box if you don’t feel like talking in front of the group.

Can I turn my camera off?

Yes, but it is easier for me to help you if you have your camera on.

Will I feel intimidated by the other painters since I’m not experienced?

No! Everyone is on different levels of experience. At the beginning of class, I ask each person to type in how long they’ve been painting into the chat box so everyone can see that we all come from different levels of expertise.

Are classes fun?

Yes! And with virtual classes, people from all over the world are joining in. So you never know what new friend you could meet.
